Who is this course for?
The occupational safety and health training for aviation is intended for all members of the occupational health and safety organisation within the Danish aviation industry – from employers and supervisors to health and safety representatives.
Course structure
Be better prepared for your role in aviation
Across three days, you will build a solid foundation in aviation workplace safety, and have opportunities to discuss and exchange experiences with others in the sector. The teaching combines traditional classroom learning, practical exercises and group work.
Day 1 & 2
On days 1 and 2, you will be introduced to legislation, the role and tasks of the workplace health and safety organisation, as well as the specific regulations and acts applicable to aviation. You will also gain insight into how psychological work environment, crisis management, and handling challenging situations can be managed in practice.
Home assignment
Between days 2 and 3, you will work on a home assignment reflecting a real-life challenge from your own workplace. The assignment enables you to transform theory into concrete solutions and benefit from professional feedback.
Day 3
On day 3, you present your practical assignment to the group. You will learn how to best communicate and inspire around workplace health and safety, influence attitudes and behaviour, and achieve an overview of the occupational health and safety landscape. You will also become more aware of your own role and competencies.
Deepen your expertise in occupational safety and health
The supplementary course, Psychosocial Working Environment for Aviation Employees, teaches you how to collaborate effectively and address challenges related to psychological health and safety in aviation.
The course builds on the knowledge you acquire in the aviation-specific occupational safety and health course.
