What does MBTI® stand for?
MBTI stands for Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and is the world’s most widely used personality type tool. MBTI is based on Carl Gustav Jung’s theory of personality types.
Who is the MBTI® certification for?
This certification is designed for anyone working in HR, management, or organisational development – whether you are employed or self-employed.
As an MBTI-certified practitioner, you are qualified to provide both individual and group feedback, as well as facilitate MBTI workshops. You will learn how to conduct individual sessions and team workshops on topics relevant to your own organisation or in your work as an external consultant.
A Step I MBTI certification also enables you to explore the next level: MBTI Step II. In Step II, the MBTI model is expanded with 20 facet pairs, bringing considerable depth and even greater insights into your own and others’ preferences.

When you embark on an MBTI® training course, you step into a world of types and preferences. You gain a range of practical tools you can use to strengthen psychological safety, change management, communication, collaboration, and leadership.
Course structure
Take the first step into the world’s most widely used personality tool
During the MBTI® Step I certification course, spread over two modules, you gain in-depth knowledge of the tool’s structure, potential, and extensive applications.
MBTI is essentially structured to describe an individual’s preferences based on four dimensions. On this certification course, you will become familiar with the theory behind the tool and gain deeper insight into each of the dimensions.
Online learning module
Your certification journey begins with an online preparation module, providing all participants with a shared professional foundation before the in‑person training. Here, you will gain an understanding of MBTI® theory, its core concepts and the framework for certification, enabling you to arrive well‑prepared and ready to delve straight into deeper learning.
You complete the module at your own pace before the course start date.
Three-day workshop
Certification continues with three intensive, practice‑based training days. Here, we work with MBTI® in practice through dialogue, exercises and real‑life cases.
The training is grounded both in professional methodology and in your role as a practitioner. You will actively engage with your own type and profile as part of the learning process – not (only) for the sake of personal development, but to strengthen your understanding, language and ability to apply the tool in your daily work.
The training is dialogue‑based and draws on real‑world work and everyday situations.
Final online exam and virtual follow‑up
After the workshop, the certification concludes with an online exam, which ensures your professional standard and certification. Following this, you have the opportunity for:
- Optional online follow-up (1 hour) with your instructor
- Guidance on your own practice, experiences and next steps
- Reflection on how to apply MBTI in your organisation, leadership or consultancy work
The follow-up session is booked when you are ready – providing you with additional support to turn your learning into practical action.

All the practicalities
The certification spans 3 days. Price is DKK 24,500 excl. VAT, invoiced prior to course start. You can receive a 10% discount by registering together with a colleague or booking more than one course. The course includes meals on training days – coffee/tea, breakfast, fresh fruit, lunch, and cake – plus all training materials. Free parking is available at all venues. Upon successful completion, all participants receive a lifelong certification. The training can also be tailored as an in-house course for organisations, with a 15% discount for a minimum of 3 participants – contact us for a non-binding offer.
