Online Occupational Safety and Health Course

The mandatory OSH Training Course in Denmark | Online

Avoid the hassle of commuting. With the Online Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Course, you can complete your course wherever it suits you best – at your home office, in your summer cottage, or at your workplace.

When you enrol in Online OSH Training Course with Human House, you gain practical skills applicable to the real world. We address specific challenges from your everyday work environment, and our experienced consultants guide your learning every step of the way.

The mandatory OSH Training Course is required for all work representatives (AMR) and management representatives (AL) in any occupational safety and health organisation (AMO). The purpose of the course is to strengthen preventive occupational safety and health efforts and to streamline the functioning of the occupational safety and health organisation.

If you are a new member of the occupational safety and health organisation at your workplace, you must, according to The Occupational Health and Safety Law, complete the course within three months of being elected or appointed to the occupational safety and health organisation.

Once you have completed the OSH Training Course once, there is no requirement to do it again. You can, therefore, use the course if you resign from the occupational safety and health organisation and rejoin later. However, the course is mandatory if you have completed the old Section 9 course from before April 1991.

On the Online OSH Training Course, you will be equipped to navigate within the legal framework of occupational safety and health, ensuring that you understand precisely what you should, ought to, and can do in a given occupational safety and health-related situation in your organisation. It prepares you, among other things, for a potential visit from the Danish Working Environment Authority, which is also introduced during the training course.

You will learn why collaboration throughout the organisation is crucial to prevent significant physical and mental occupational health challenges, and the importance of occupational safety and health policies, culture, and behaviour in succeeding in improving local occupational safety and health.

With the mandatory OSH Training Course, you will also understand the importance of conducting the mandatory workplace assessment (APV). You will gain knowledge about how the APV, in conjunction with safety inspections, risk assessments, and a focus on training, instruction, and supervision, can create a better work environment that complies with the law. Most importantly, it establishes a solid foundation for the physical and psychological occupational health in your workplace.

Here, an activity plan outlining the content of the course will also be created.

Occupational Safety and Health Training Courses to your specific needs

At Human House, we offer various courses specialised for your specific organisation. This could, for instance, be the mandatory OSH Training Course with physical attendance if it suits your needs better than the online structure.

It could also be the OSH Training Course for Coordinators if you are seeking a course aiming at preventing accidents and injuries through general knowledge about occupational safety and health, as well as tools to handle safety and health-related tasks on construction sites. This course is of the highest standard because our instructors work every day advising clients within the field. They are therefore familiar with the challenges you face as a safety and health coordinator on a construction site and know which tools you need to address them.

We also offer the Supplementary Occupational Safety and Health Training Course. Here, you’ll find training courses covering both physical and psychological occupational safety and health, allowing you to be trained in topics relevant to your workplace. As a work representative (AMR) and management representative (AL) in the occupational safety and health organisation (AMO), you are, in addition to the mandatory OSH Training Course, entitled to ongoing, Supplementary OSH Training, which your employer must provide.

Our approach is designed to meet the unique needs and challenges your organisation faces. Our experienced consultants ensure that the content is relevant, engaging, and directly applicable to your specific work context.

Please contact us, if any of these customised courses are relevant to you.
