IOSH is the chartered body for health and safety professionals. With more than 48,000 members in over 130 countries, IOSH is the world’s largest professional health and safety organisation.

Workshop Content

The Vision Zero training is a one-day training course and can be delivered face-to-face or remotely through virtual platforms (eg. video conferencing). The content of the course is:

The organisational benefits of introducing a Vision Zero strategy and what actions need to be taken to implement it.

The concept of Vision Zero as a preventative strategy for safety, health and well-being at work.

The 7 Golden Rules of Vision Zero:

1. Take leadership – demonstrate commitment
2. Identify hazards – control risks
3. Define targets – develop programmes
4. Ensure a safe and healthy system – be well-organised
5. Ensure safety and health in machines, equipment and workplaces
6. Improve qualifications – develop competence
7. Invest in people – motivate by participation.
